We can also assist in creating a Facebook “Like Page” and designing accounts—like your Twitter profile—so they look similar to your website.

2Domain Name Management: Your web site domain is a crucial aspect of your integrated online marketing plan. We can brainstorm good domain names along with facilitating purchase and on-going management (losing track of a domain and letting it expire can be a huge headache).

Our website evaluation process currently contains over 75 items to check when we engage in the due diligence process, and we can provide assistance in valuation, negotiation, and safe escrow-based domain and website transfer.

4Email Marketing: While email spam has created many challenges in getting messages delivered and read, it is certainly not dead. Creating an ethical, permission-based email list and regularly communicating with your subscribers is an essential marketing technique. There are many services—like Constant Contact and iContact—but we’ve used AWeber since 2002 and it’s our favorite.

7Marketing Strategy: We can help with defining the customers or clients you can best serve, determining pricing of products and/or services, discovering marketing demographics and psychographics, focusing on market niches, and more.

9Conversion Optimization: Sometimes even a small change in website copy and/or design can make a large difference in how many people respond to a call to action on your site, like signing up for an email newsletter or ordering a product. We can use tools like Google’s Website Optimizer to setup A/B split tests, eliminate guesswork, and increase conversions.

10Web Analytics: We setup all new web design and website remodeling accounts with Google Analytics, and we can also add this code to most existing websites. Tracking visitor statistics is essential to understanding how to improve your site.

11SEO & SEM: We’ve been studying and practicing SEO (“Search Engine Optimization”) and SEM (“Search Engine Marketing”) since 1995, which was when the field first began to emerge. Unfortunately, most of the information we run into on the web is obsolete or even dangerous. Many techniques that worked really five years ago, even ten years back, are a very bad idea now. In addition, investing in SEO/SEM isn’t always the best use of one’s marketing budget. We can assess which aspects of SEO/SEM have the potential to generate a reasonable return on investment and which would be a waste of time and money.

12Local Search Marketing: A subset of SEM, smart investment in local search can be wise for location-based businesses who are wanting to attract customers. Services like Google Places, Yahoo! Local, Ask.com Local, along with working review sites like Yelp.com and TripAdvisor.com, can generate new business. Press release marketing can also be useful in supporting local search.

13Content Article Marketing: The parent company for Positive Projections, HeartCore Corporation, has been engaged in content site creation, article marketing, and affiliate program monetization since the beginning. We’ve learned a great deal about effective publishing strategies, most of which are applicable for traffic building on our client websites.

14Blogging: Related to Content Article Marketing, blogging is a powerful strategy when added to a company’s website. We’ve created an entire business process to reach out to other blogs, join in the conversation, attract new visitors—who can be converted to clients or customers—and assist with SEO factors like attracting links.

15Advertising: There are many forms of online advertising, including PPC (“Pay Per Click” services like Google AdWords), banner ads, classifieds, etc. When done campaigns are well planned and executed, positive results with good ROI can be achieved. But without thinking through the entire marketing funnel, tracking results, and optimizing conversion, most online advertising is a waste of energy and money.

16E-commerce: We can setup shopping carts on the small end of the spectrum, like a few dozen products or less. We consider high-end e-commerce to be a specialty, so we refer out large projects to trusted companies in our network.
